After laying nearly adjectives of the 400 Sq ft of flooring I needed to install without oodles issues, I reached the concluding row of planks. The last row started next to a doorway and ended beside another doorway which also happened to be contained by a corner. Can someone please explain to me how you can possibly cut the plank to fit under the door jambs and still procure the plank installed? If I cut the plank wide satisfactory to go beneath the door jamb, it hits the door jamb before lay flat. The whole situation seem physically impossible. I KNOW one of you guys who have done this for years know the solution. But, it seems to be beyond what my brain can knob. Help !
Answers: You have to cut the bottom item of the groove off. This allows the piece to lay contained by straight down. Then you have to cement it or face pin it in place (I cogitate this is what you are asking)
Take the door jambs off if they are screwed to the frame.
or if they are pinned after gently torment them loose, then replace once floor is finished
walk buy a flush cut saw. a decent small one is give or take a few $12. this will allow you to cut the door casing short removing it. the last row can be tricky. sometimes it requires dropping contained by the pieces that fit and sliding the others in from the side. well brought-up luck!!!
