If you're chilly, crank it up! Or do what I do and break out the space heaters. That way I can thaw out up where I am and not grill the whole house if not's adjectives that cold outside.

Unless it's below 60 degree, it would be cheaper to invest in a nice thaw out blanket. Why raise your power bill so soon? I don't usually turn on the roast till mid-October or November.

The outside temp only prohibits your use of the A/C. If it's cooler than 65F, running an A/C can lay waste to your compressor.
For heaters, you're just burning gas. The boil exchangers don't care what the ambient temp is. I'm a home inspector and turn on heaters adjectives year 'round in decree to evaluate them.

I don't know about you, but I've be freezing these past few night. I've put my warm jama's on and contained by front of the gas fire. And according to yahoo weather,(don't want to put you off ) we are going to win a bad winter.
depends on if you don't mind the heat bill. I live in Michigan and I own found that the sooner I put on the heat or long johns, the colder I am during the "real" winter months.
We put ours on this week!! Normally I'd enunciate it's mid-October when ours goes on, but we've be chilly in the mornings here. So I'd put it on if I be you. We were outstandingly toasty when we woke up this morning,...........!!
