Can I issue a small concrete sector contained by a plastic mold? Should I use a release agent?

Ok, here's the thing, I am going to breed a vacuum forming machine to take home plastic molds. Can I fill the plastic mold that I be paid with concrete to brand say, a small adornment? Will I need a release agent? If so, what genus of release agent?
