what direction should a ceiling fan turn to cool-clockwise or countercloclwise?
Answers:
Depends on how the blades are set... But the 3 fans I have the blades are set so that:
Counter Clockwise - Blows Down
Clockwise - Pulls air up
Other answers:
depends on how the fins are placed
depends on how the fins are placed
depends on which way the blades are curved to. most likely it will be counter clockwise since thats how most fans are
Counter clock-wise.
Counterclockwise will suck up the hot air.
They generally run counter clockwise.
It depends which way the blades are tilted. The lower side should face into the turn.
The lowest edge of the fin should be the last.
hi!
Clockwise.
clockwise..i think...def clockwise!
counter clock-wise
It should spin counterclockwise to suck the hot air up
Counterclockwise in the summer for cooling and clockwise in the winter for dispersing warm air.
i don't think it matters. mine turns clockwise though.
Yes, it depends how the blades are placed and whether you want the air to circulate up (bringing cooler air to the ceiling) or if you want the heated air pushed down to ground level.
either or it should have a switch so it can turn both ways if not counter clockwise
counterclockwise for cooling purposes
clockwise for heating purposes
They are right Got2go
It definitely depends on the angle of inclination of the fin for example...
If the fins are (going this way->) / it must turn counter clockwise to produce a positive wind...
If the fins are (going this way->) \ it must turn clockwise to produce a positive wind...
counterclockwise to cool you off. hope this makes you feel better.
Stand under the fan, turn it on and then you tell me which feels cooler, eh?
remove 1 blade and then it will flap
