is it leak on the threads on top? or a solder joint.orif its below the threads it could be a doomed to failure heater if its the threads later you have to cut the pipe,revise the threads with teflon cartridge a a little plumbers dope sealant and screw it vertebrae in and put a coupling on the pipe or compression coupling so you dont hold to solder good luck

If its on the tread ed part of you hose heater the your best opportunity is to re-thread the connection, but depending on how you w/h is connected, it could require a plumber. If you enjoy water electric fire connectors, which are flexible hoses, then replace the hoses. You can do this your self. If its thorny piped in after call a plumber. If its the reservoir leaking later replace the heater. You cant fix it. You cant weld the percolate. You cant use an epoxy sealant. There is a glass or fiber cup inner liner that will just crack or burn up if you weld it. If its lower than warranty then name a plumber, they should be able to grasp you a new electric fire. Most manufactures contribute a six year warrant on the tank. You will enjoy to pay for the labor but not the furnace to get it replaced. You don't stipulation a receipt, the serial number will recount you all you requirement to know.
What you are describing sounds like the roast trap fitting that came built onto the furnace is leaking. That can be removed to see if it is rotted or if the reservoir is bad at that spot. If purely the threaded joint is leak, then using some teflon video and pipe dope, you should be able to stamp it up.
Try to determine how old the oven is if it has be in service beyond the warranty time of year usually 5 years plus and it is leaking at except the threaded fitting,its a no brainer dump it and replace with a unusual heater.
