I'm trying to pick my room's deadbolt snigle cylinder lock but don't seem to be to be going anywhere.....

I can see from the keyhole that I've lifted the first pin (and I suppose indistinguishable for the rest as they are in one and the same path) but don't know what to do after that. As a second step, I usually try to turn the cylinder with a screw driver to the orifice direction (clockwise). Is it the correct step? If not, what should I do instead?

Answers:    Never heard of a bedroom have a deadbolt? What are you trying to open? Couldn't be your bedroom because you can't lock a deadbolt lacking a key. Whats up????????????
