why is my scalp dirty?

You need to wash your hair better. When you shampoo, scrub vigorously. You may also have dry scalp, when causes a lot of flaking. Try using T-gel shampoo. It works great.
Try an occasional shower!
Stick your head in a washing machine, turn it on to regular cycle..within 20 minutes, your head will be clean. The spin cycle is a real trip.
