How do you chlorinate a pool/hot tub?
Answers:
There are a few methods to add chlorine all at once or slowly and continuously. Sunlight and evaporation can quickly reduce chlorine levels. You need a test kit to help keep the chlorine and PH at levels that are both effective and safe. The directions with the test kit should explain everything you need to know.

you have to read the container...it goes by how many gallons you have in your pool/hot tub and also how much useage you get out of it.

you have to clorinate to keep it from getting too grungy. You have to get a kit that tells you what you are at PH wise so you know what to add. You will need both chlorine and an acid.Local areas have different types of acid so not sure what you will have there. But dont guess on amounts or you are likely to at least cause skin irratation
Just buy those tablets like in the pool section in walmart and pour about 2 cups of bleach in, it keeps the water clear and you won't have green algae growing. Be sure not to put too much though it could hurt your eyes and make your swimsuit white.
I had a pool, and hottub, and I found that using baquacil was better, I never had any trouble with the water turning, and in the end it cost me less money, you can call a pool dealer and ask them how much chlorine to use, they most likely will know about the hottub too.
