need plans for a homestead paper trash burner, efficient, more capacity than 55 drum?

need plans for trash burner, preferably of cheap materials that will last, want to add an energy recovery unit??boiler for small steam engine??need to know if concrete block will stand up to the heat, what grate material size should be??

Answers:
your gonna blow up, I can tell... and no a cinder block won't last too long. You need to find the plans for a Hashu (I think) it is a fire box surrounded by sand with pipe all through it to collect and transfer heat, you won't get steam but plenty of hot water. and it is built with block because the fire is contained in fire brick as it should be. The fire heats the sand this heat is collected by the water an there you go. you could then send the pre heated water into a REAL boiler to get steam for your engine.

I think you can't get more than 55drum capacity on the shell. Most these available to industry users only.
