I am looking for very light weight pipe for windchimes?
Answers:
Try a plumbing/ heating supply store. You can get various thicknesses of pipe in brass, copper, steel, (including Stainless steel) and aluminum. Be sure to ask them the Gage thickness of the tubing. It will be anywhere from 10 to possibly 60. The higher the number , the thicker the pipe. Most natural gas and water lines are 40 gage pipe. One possible pipe is EMT conduit. It is 10 gage and is available in aluminum and steel.

Go and get copper tubing then cut it to different lengths. They will have different pitches when clinging together. You can also buy a small pipe cutter to do it. Very inexpensive. Ask for an employee to help.
