Walls: How do I procure textured walls and rounded edges on corners surrounded by my house?

Do I have to hire contractor to spray my walls beside plaster or this a not-so-tricky DIY project? I love the look of textured walls. My house has various sharp corners too and would look so much better with a rounded periphery to them. Thanks

Answers:    You can add texture to the paint, this is the course many diy'ers do texturing. A professional will spray it from a hopper. As far as round corners, I would not recommend you try this. The corners are metal and the prehistoric corners would have to be cut out beside a utility knife and adjectives the nails removed making a mess of the drywall. Drywall mudding take practice to get a professional charge.
no homedepot and lowes have textured paint i enjoy it in 2 of my rooms
it,s confident to do it yourself go to home depot ,capture a bucket of joint compound and a metal trowel. get hold of some rounded corner bead . you can apply them with combined compound. put some compound on trowel, hold at angle to wall and spread. practice on a section , it scrape off unforced so don't be afraid to experiment. remember less is better , but you can join more texture by skimming with trowel right after first application. use drywall primer and after paint. the paint brings out the texture,so sometimes less is more
you must hire a contractor. its a difficult and death-defying project. but i think you can sand down the corners yourself.
