If you have never done this before, try looking at a book called brickwork 1, by W>G>Nash when i was at collage they were the prefered text books, shows you how to bond your brickwork even for double thickness walls, dont forget your foundations are everything there are too many factors that determine good work so get out and have ago first,mix your mortar 1-cement 3 sand and heres a little tip a squirt of washing up liquid as a plasterciser will keep it workable.Make sure you plan before you start.Keep your joints uniform if you can, usually 10mm.Hope this helps.
