What do i use to put up a brick wall?

as stupid as it sounds, i don't know wht to use for laying down bricks....
my brick wall have just fall down i just wondered what stuff should i use to put it back up again e.g. is it cement or morta i am not shall


Answers:    Cement and sand mixed to a 3 : 1 ratio. Mix together and supply some water so the mixture is slightly gooey, just a bit more than right to be heard custard.
