What hardware is needed? Please read on...?

I'm hanging a mirror on a plaster wall. Any recommendations as to what type of hardware is best for this? Should be an easy 10 points for someone who knows!

Answers:
I agree with blinda, but that's a bit overkill. But with mirrors better safe than sorry.
You do need those anchor bolts. There are several available and are rated for their holding capacity. Go for the biggest holding ones. Double it up, for extra safety.
One other method, is to, depending on the size of the mirror, is to mount a board, on the two adjacent or three 2x4 in your wall, those studs. Then you can mount a couple of heavy duty screws in the board. A 1x2 should do the trick.

you need wall anchors, clasps and screws at Least two on the top two on the bottom one on each side, any store that has hard wear can help with this good luck

if its a bathroom mirror over a vanity, use mirror clips( comes with everything u need)..if just a wall mirror then if u cant find a stud for the center of the mirror, then go to home depot or like and ask for "self taping wall anchors" they r over sized plastic screws with a hole in the middle that holds another screw that u screw in and hang mirror.

I saw this on "In a Fix" and did it with a painting. Take a pice of 1x4. Set a talbe or circular saw to cut at 45 degree and rip down the length. Then level and mount the one that starts away from the wall and goes back in to the wall. Then attach the other piece to the mirror. This allows you to screw it into a stud and its easier to level the mirror.
simple mirror clasp's/hooks that you can screw through your plaster, and also use 2 face tape on the back side, not completely covering it but a few strips, just incase it gets broke/cracked, that the pieces wont all fall and also alot easier to clean up if that happens
