Wall mounting a tv into masonry block?

Tapcons, they work every time.
make it larger adjectives round and line next to wood .... frame it as well

I agree beside the first answer {use tapcons}, however, anchor two parallel 2 X 4's or 2 X 6's with the tapcon to the block wall. Use two every 12" Then mount the tv bracket to the 2 bys near 5/8 X 1-1/2 lags.
