how do i up a fence?
Answers:
Call a local shop that deals with chain-link fence, they can give you estimates on how much you will need, how many posts, etc. Have a plan drawn out on paper with your exact dimensions, how many gates, corners, etc. From that, they will tell you what supplies you will need.
Get a motorized post-hole digger from a rental company. Digging by hand can be done if you're really, really strong - but i strongly advise against it. Dig down far enough (the fence co. can tell you how far to dig - it depends on height of fence) Set your posts in quick-crete and make sure they are level.
Attach the connectors to the posts and attach the fence fabric. You can get by without a fence stretcher if you have two strong people pull the fabric taught - one near the top, one near the bottom.

Chain link is a real job. You have to set the posts in a good bed of concrete on 8 foot centers, install the top and bottom tension poles, then string the fence...You may be able to rent a fence tensioner device..you will need it.
Well, you'll want a post-hole digger to make the holes to bury the posts in. You'll want some quik-crete to fill in the holes with the posts in them. You'll want to grab some heavy-duty wire to run along the bottom of the fence in order to keep the dog from pushing it out, and you may even want to bury some of it. Some people just put about 3 or 4 inches in the ground, and some people just put it up like normal, and lay down about a 2 foot wide piece and lay some dirt and grass on it. This way, if your dog does start digging, he'll hit the fence, however you have it set up, and will stop.
dig where you want your fence to go and then get cement put the fence in possition then pore the cement in. Or digg deep so that the fence gets support and patt it in really good so that it would stay.
