i have a doublewide with a deck on the front.would like to atach a roof.dont know how to get it started??????



Answers:
First off.. you have to consider what kind of roof you have on your home. Do you have 2x4 rafters, or a 'mini-truss' system (This will affect your construction, as to whether the home roof can carry the added load, or not). Only the higher end homes will have the full size rafters. Next...what is the direction of the roof line, in relation to the deck. Does the roof slope towards the deck? Another thing to consider is how high is the deck in relation to the home? (Might cause a problem, with opening a storm door, if the 'deck roof' ends up too low, hehehe)

I would suggest you call a couple of local contractors, and ask them to stop by, and talk over what you would like to do. :)
