INSTALLING trial GAS RANGE....?

Answers: If you can thread a nut onto a bolt you will hold no problem with this. That is, if your antiquated range be also gas. Turn off the gas to the ancient range and remove the flex pipe from the support of the range. Move the prehistoric range out of the means of access. On the new selection, wrap the threads where the flex pipe attaches beside teflon tape. I other use 5 wraps, not sure why, but I do. Make sure you wrap it in the right direction. When looking at the plain end of the threads, you requirement to go within the clockwise direction. If you do it wrong the tape will of late come back bad again. Now put a very little amount of pipe dope higher than the tape and thread on the flex pipe bring to a close. Tighten it up, DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. A 10 to 12" crescent wrench will work just fine. Now label sure all burners etc on the modern stove are off and turn on the gas. Using a strong solution of dishsoap and marine pour a little bit over your hot connection and over adjectives conections just to produce sure and watch for bubbles. No bubbles?? Move your strange stove into position and fire it up to let it burn surrounded by for a bit. It's very assured if you take your time. I used to pipefit on gas pipelines where on earth there be 1000 PSI. In your house you'll have perchance 3 or 4. Have fun with your contemporary stove!!!!
If your old selection was gas, this will be a snap. Just game what was on the feeble range, and dont forge to trademark all nouns with any thread sealant tape or some sort of thread sealant compund. This prevents gas leak
Just remember to spend an extra $10 and get a tentative line.
