Has anyone installed ductless air conditioning in their old house? I have radiator heat with no ducts.?

Leave that for the pro's. Not only you have to run electrical (240v) to the unit outside, also you have to connect the line-set to the condenser outside. It's not a major job but, you need some training in that. Some unit models will come with two or three ports on the condenser to hookup up to three inside wall hanging units with separate remote control per unit. Nice but expensive.
Consider a air handler in the attic and a small amount of duct and spider out to each room with ceiling registers. This way you can save at least 1/2 of what it would have cost you to install the ductless way. I am sure that you can find a contractor that you can work with where you live and you and your husband can do the installing and the technician will do the final hookup. Good Luck

This is a high pressure system that uses pipes such as pvc to supply the air to the rooms. You need a special a/c system designed for this type of airconditioning. The draw back to this type is it is noisy. I do not know your husbands level of mechanics so do not know if he can do it!
