Can i Mow My Weeded Lawn Before i Apply a Fertilizer-Weed Conrol Mix?
Thanks
Answers:
Mow the lawn and spread the Turf Builder. If the lawn is a nice even level, the stuff will spread more evenly. If you let the weeds (and dandelions) stay tall, you risk them going to seed and re-seeding your lawn with weeds! If you can't spread the Scott's in the early am to catch the dew, you can water your lawn with sprinklers or a hose to give the granules something to "stick" to. If your lawn is huge, you can split it into 2 sections and water and spread one in the am and the other in the evening.

No, apply the mix first and let it take full effect before cutting. The weed-killing part of the mix will need to cling to the leaves, etc. of the weeds.
If you cut it down, it will have MUCH less to cling on to, only skinny little stems.
The fertilizer works at the root system. You can mow and then apply.
MOW THE LAWN--PUTS OWIES ON THE WEEDS AND THE WEED KILLER WILL LEACH IN BETTER AND TALL WEEDS NEED TO GO AS THEY ARE MAKING SEEDS AND MORE WEEDS.
use organic fertilizer or none at all. read the warnings on the bag of fertilizer, you are spreading poison that your pets and children will be exposed to and then it will leach into the groundwater and poison your lazy ***
weeds are killed at root, go ahead cut the grass
if you check the fine print you will most likely see atrazine as the weed killer. mowing wont make any difference to it. it works slowly so dont get disscuraged. regular mowing helps to keep the weeds from going to seed also.
