Mirror clips are usually screwed into the wall. If the screw heads are hidden, then look underneath the clips ( I mean look at the floor side of the clip ) for a little screw without a head, just a groove to fit a flat head screwdriver. This would loosen up the face plate of the mirror clip. Of course, you could try prying off the mirror clip if it is a glue on mirror clip. You also might need to pry off the mirror as well. A lot of times, people will use glue and clips to hold up a mirror ( Same idea as belts and suspenders. )

You can unscrew the clips and remove the mirror.

Start by removing the clips.
Unscrew clips and gently remove mirror. Do not pull hard because the glue pads may need to be pryed off the drywall with a razer or similar product.
With a helper...don't try this alone, it really requires a least three hands.
WEAR GLOVES, thick leather work gloves. You never know if the mirror will break.
DO NOT WEAR SANDALS: you don't know if you or your helper will slip and the mirror may come crashing down and shatter.
Carefully remove the clips in a diagonal pattern.
Start at the upper left or right corner then move to the lower opposite corner. Then repeat in the on the other sides. Have your helper hold the mirror in place so that it doesn't slide and crash to the floor.
If there's room to allow it to slide out once you've removed the corner clips, do so. Slide it out carefully.
If not, continue removing the clips from one side of the mirror (the closest side to the nearest wall or corner of wall) then move to the other side.
Sometimes these mirrors have been adhered to the wall behind them. So attempt to slide the mirror first to check to see if it's been glued down or not.
If it has, get a pry bar and wear safety goggles!
