Can I use oil-based Rustoleum paint on concrete steps?

I used Gray Rustoleum paint on outside metal hatchway doors in my yard. I don't want to buy anymore paint....can I use this oil-based Rustoleum on my outside concrete steps? What effects would this have on the steps??

Answers:
Oil based paints are good for most surfaces as long as the concrete is dusted down and not greasy in any way then it will be fine. However, it may not wear as well as paint that has been formulated for steps and floors so you may need to re-paint occasionally.

Other answers:
Really, you won't get good long term results. Concrete is more porous than metal and over time with foot traffic it will flake and wear off of the surface. I think you would be wasting your time and should spring for the concrete paint for more durability.
