Whats the difference between a parallel system and a series system within heat.?

Answers:    One supply pipe going to the heating part then on to the subsequent unit is series. Parallel is two pipes 1 supply 1 return. The series system have some draw backs, surrounded by that, the more heating unit you add to the system the smaller amount efficient the extreme units become. This is because grill is lost through each subsequent section before it returns to the grill source. The draw back to the parallel system is that it is more expensive to install but supplies more uniform warmth. I am assuming that you are referring to a hydronic heating system.
Very simply, parallel system you can run one or the other independantly. Series means the unit are wired together and both have to be on for any to work.
