How do Iower Water Pressure on my boiler?
Answers: On boilers in that is a water nurture line that add water as it loses it due to grill and evaporation. In the feed file (usually 1/2" copper) there is a pressure reducing spigot , becuase the water surrounded by your house is 40 to 60 psi and your boiler is at 10-12 psi. There is a screw on the pressure reducing valve to muffle inlet pressure. If you want to reduce the pressure becuase the nouns valve is poping sour and let out sea, it is usually becuase your expansion tank is fruitless. That is underneath your air dipper and usually is about 12" contained by diameter and has an nouns valve stem on the bottom. They enjoy a bladder in them that let the water expand when heated. If the bladder get a hole in it the sea can't expand and the pressure relief will blow bad every time the boiler runs. You can try reducing the pressure, but if it keeps blowing rotten it's becuase of the expansion tank. They cost around $75 Good Luck
On mine there is a small knob beside a slot to allow a screwdriver to reduce the pressure. turn clockwise.
