Help me with a pool problem....please : )?

Anybody ever DIY replace an inground pool liner???? I love to hear the not-so-pleasant details that the liner catalog houses don't tell ya.

THanks

Make sure you measure accurately. Nothing worse than having the wrong liner. It isn't a hard job. (At least I never thought so, but I've installed so many.) Read the instructions before you begin. Liners are folded a certain way and it is far easier to unfold them so they are oriented correctly than to get them all unfolded and have to turn them around. Stick the bead in the track about every 3 to 4 feet- just to hold it in place and support the weight (the things are heavy.) Once in place go back and start hanging the liner, making sure to get corners lined up properly. Once you get it hung then start the vacuum and kick the wrinkles out of the floor as the walls are sucked in. Easy, huh? This is assuming you have prepared he walls and joints properly.
