what are the steps in installing an on ground, vinyl swimming pool?
Answers:
Level the site removing all grass.
Do not fill low side, dig down high side.
Lay out the track/frame on the ground and measure to MAKE SURE it is round on the round parts and square on the straight side.
Level each post and/or standard to EXACTLY same as others with a small stepping stone under each.
Place the wall inthe center of the pool, decide decide wher you want the filter setup, and start unrolling the wall and place it in the track in that area.
Have some hold the wall at the beginning until both ends come together all the way around the pool and bolt it together.
Spread brick sand on the ground inside the pool to cushion the liner.
Rake sand out flat, wet the sand, pack the sand, wet the sand, smooth the sand, wet the sand.
Lay out the liner inside the pool, making sure the wall seams in the liner are up close to the pool wall.
Start hanging the liner on the opposite end of the pool where the pump/filter will be loacted.
You must make certain you start the liner evenly and keep the wall seam on the floor of the pool even ALL THE WAY AROUND or you will have a nightmare.
Once the liner is hanging on the wall all the way around, place a shop vac in through on eof the filter cutouts on the wall, tape any other holes in the wall with duct tape and suck the air out from behind the liner until it is tight to the pool wall.
If it is straight and smooth, start adding water.
Once you have a couple inches of water across the entire bottom of the pool, turn off the shop vac and let the pool continue to fill.
Once it atleast 1/2 full you can cut the liner to install the filter return line and skimmer.
Connect the filter parts to the pool wall.
Then connect all the top rails and other cosmetic pieces.
Hook up the filter, fill the pool, add chemicals.

I did it one time and it came out perfect. Now that is said. Go to the community pool. Installing the pool is nothing compared to taking care of the cess pool thing. They are very expensive to operte and maintain.
