my washer won't spin or drain?

OK first off ,, it's not the timer,, already replaced that,, it's the drain isn't clogged,, cuz I can get some water to come out of it,, the motor works becuase it agitates,, and adds water,, and you can hear the timer, going and gears clicking,, I have taken off hte control panel and nothing is loose or un connected.

Any help?? I am not really wanting to call the repair man I can get another one almost cheaper ,,, but would like to try and fix this myself.

i agree with emee to a point. it probably is the belt, however, before you replace it try tightening it. you don't need much for tools. a screw driver or small socket set to remove the back. a metric expander(crescent wrench), or maybe 3/8in. socket set to loosen the bolts so you can tighten the belt. a good pair of pliers such as channel locks. some kind of light so you can see because you will be working under the washer. the first thing you want to do is turn off the water. then turn the washer onto warm so the water pressure is released. then unplug the washer. then unhook the hoses, expect some water when you unhook them. you will have to get as much water out as possible. also any cloths. next you will have to pull out the washer so you can turn it to remove the back. after you remove the back take the light so you can check the belt. as you look at the belt watch for something that you can loosen to tighten it. there might be an idler wheel or pulley. it might even be the motor. it should be near the back. loosen the bolt or bolts. you will need to pull, push or pry it to tighten the belt. the last time i did it i was able to make the notch longer that my adjustment slid in. lots of luck.

If the washer is 5 or more years older it is almost never cheaper to repair, and they are a nightmare to work on. Sadley our society is very good at making junk to wear out quickly it seems you already have a lot of grief in it and still you have nothing. Older worn parts always shorten the life of new parts. Cut your loses and buy new.
You can fix it. Seems like it is a broken belt. Maybe a water pump. Both are cheap. I fixed mine and I'm a housewife.
