Any creative ways to heat my room?
Answers:
Leave the curtains open when the sun is shining (if it shines into your room). Put up three or four layers of curtaining over your window to help guard against drafts. If the outside walls are cold, try stapling comforters to the walls as extra insulation (I have actually done this. Be creative and turn it into wall art.) Wear socks everywhere (even to bed) and get a pair of fuzzy slippers for extra warmth. And remember that 50% of the heat loss from your body occurs through your head...so wear some sort of close fitting hat at all times.

burn your carpet then you will a have a creative mess as well
some stores sell personal heaters (about $20.00) they are great. i have one at my work with the heather and fan, i also have them at home one for bathroom and one for bedroom. they are great because some have the automatic shut off feature which is really safe
Home Depot and Lowes sell an electric room heater that has no cord - the plug is built in the back and you just plug it in and it is tight against the wall. Most outlets are 16" or so off the ground so the cold air at your feet is being warmed first. Plus you don't lose the other outlet if you use the bottom of the plug.
Has a thermostat too. They work great.
I think they're called "Wall Hugger" heaters.
If it's just for one room, buy a pellet stove with a low btu rating, you can vent the stove thru any wall easly. and pellets cost about $3 - $4 dollars a bag and the stove adds beauty to the room.
