how do you fix a kitchen faucet when you turn it on absoutly no pressure?

when i turn on my kitchen sink there is no pressure but pressure in the rest of the house

Answers:
The first thing to check is the aerator screen at the faucet outlet. If it is clogged, it would limit the water flow at that faucet. The aerator will unscrew from the faucet, if it has been on a while you may need to carefully use channel lock type pliers to grip it . Remove the aerator and turn on the faucet. If you have a good water flow, you know the problem is in the aerator.

You could try soaking the screen in vinegar or in a product like CLR, but seeing as a replacement aerator should only cost a couple of dollars, I would just replace it.

If the problem is not there, then you have internal problems with that faucet. Depending on the make and style, you may be able to get a repair kit, or it may be just as cheap to replace the faucet!

There is a broken pipe somewhere. You need to find it and repair it. Or hire a plumber to install another line to it.

you might have a clogg line. flush it. by turn the pressure off. and off. and disconnect the lines. open the faucet.
pipe is clogged ,,have you taken the screen out of the faucet and cleaned it?
Is your floor level? check for foundation damage.
Check the screen in the faucet first before you panic and tear out a wall. Probably got some smuch in it.
yea, it is the screen. If there were a broken pipe somewhere your meter would be running all the time and the pressure in the rest of the house would also be bad. Just unscrew the little chrome thing on the end of your faucet and take apart the little layers within he screen assembly that control the water pressure and inject oxygen into the water. Try to remember how they came apart so youcan reassemble them properly. There will be little pieces of rock in the screen and in the little holes within the pressure control layer. Probably manganese, an inert metal that is in water and sticks to the walls of the pipes in the house. If there is a sudden pressure change or the pipes get bumped it loosens the deposits and then they flow up and into your screen. You may need to use a needle or pin to get some out but make sure you get them all out or else the water will flow funny
First check pressure at shut off valves before suuply line go uo to faucet if you have pressure there then its in the faucet if not its befor shut off valve
What kind of faucet is it? I have a delta faucet which is a pullout and where the sprayer meets the hose there is a screen that got clogged with sediment and killed my water pressure, cleared the screen, cleared the problem.
