Plumbing/Designish question (shower related)?

My fiance and I constantly fight over water in the shower. Pushing, shoving, you know, bad stuff... I was thinking of running a copper pipe along the front of the shower/tub combo to the other side to install another showerhead. I would mount this on both sides of the gap. We would use the copper pipe as our curtain rod (so picture that as where it's running).

Comments? Concerns? I'm wondering if the copper would corrode and leave marks/streaks on the wall?

Answers:
obviously need a creative plumber, there is chrome finish pipe and fittings available that have a better look as copper will look aged, but shouldn't leave stains as it is stable and long lasting. Good luck.

Other answers:
I'd be more concerned about breaking the copper pipe as the two of you are plowing into each other. If you have that much room, why not put in 2 individual shower stalls and save the fighting for the dinner table, like normal families.

ever consider taking seperate baths/showers?? or just get a little closer! yes you can as you say,, but if looks are important get better looking stuff than copper!!
Although the concept of water supply/curtain rod is novel and cute, I think you need to consider using the more conventional in-wall plumbing. Condensation on the copper pipe could cause the streaking you fear. Corrosion, no probelm if you could live with the patina. How bout buying a hand held attachment and passing it back and forth? My bet is this showering together will end soon enough.
Sounds like your having too much fun to do any plumbing.
