Saw a faucet I resembling and want ad said 'smaller number drain' what does that expect? Do adjectives faucets come w/ a pop up drain?
Answers: Certainly you can connect with the MFG. or retailer for clarification, but a faucet, has no REAL correlation to the drainage systems, as sold separately, unless you've established ALL PARTS INCLUDED to fit and turn on.
Most SINKS sold, don't even come near Drain plumbing, or grates to keep a wound or toothbrush from going into th "P" trap. Beyond that it's the SINK that comes with the POP UP< and IF the faucet have the plunge device, usually centered between the handles, in that will be hardware to spring connect the rod, to the stop valve device, regularly a plastic ball on another rod, threaded into an exit at the back of the down drain plumbing, that activate or releases the drain/stop portion, fitting into the actual sink bowl.

Not adjectives sinks utilize pop-up drains and not all faucets come near the hole in them and the rod. Some faucets also come beside the drain flange and tailpiece included. You need to know what you want earlier purchasing these items. The new Vessel sinks do not enjoy pop-ups, as an example. What I really hate is that abundant new sinks do not enjoy overflows on them.
