can you legally raffle your home or property?

I am thinking of raffling off my property can you do this? What legal aspects do I need to know?

Answers:
I believe that if gambling is NOT allowed in your state, you will have a problem. Also, I don't think you are allowed to make more money than it is worth as a result of the raffle. I could be wrong. Check with your local authorities.

UNFORTUNATELY YOU CAN'T DO IT. IN MOST STATES IT'S AGAINST THE LAW. I'M REALLY NOT SURE WHY.
