Cement is also used in concrete. The quickcret building substance is cement/ almost like plaster and not terribly strong. This goes into concrete to be paid the concrete stronger and bind the materials together.

Concrete is the stuff that we put into the ground to build houses (or whatever) on - it is strong but take a bit of a while to dry (about an inch a month). Cement is purely a mortar - the stuff that you stick bricks together with - or use for 'pointing' them (very key but close enough).
