What are some good places to look for cheap containers so I can start a mini-garden in my small space???

Answers:
I love unusual containers for anything!! I like the surprise you get when you realize that your tea glass was once a flower vase, or the night stand bowl for cut flowers used to be a milk can! Try your local thrift stores. You can get everything an eclectic heart could desire for next to nothing, and with a little imagination, your little place can be singing with individuality!!

My wife and I use the plastic containers that our ground beef comes in from the store.
Big Lots and Dollar Stores
tesco's or your local garden center. plastic containers or terra cotta don;t really cost much. good luck.
id guess lows or home depot
The Dollar Store.
You can find any type of container for planting just make sure it has drain holes in the bottom. And, besides the stores, you can also find tons of containers at flea markets etc. If you use these make sure you steralize them first with hot, soapy water and a little bit of bleach. Then rinse them well. this will remove any bacteria that any other plants may have had that lived there before yours. lol hope this helps:}
go to the yellow pages and look up painters.call and ask them if they have any used paint buckets/cans they will sell.also most paint stores have new cans/buckets for sale.around $6 for a 5 gal bucket and $2 for a 1 gal bucket

of course you ll have to drill a few holes in them for drainage
