Can someone recommend a drill for me?

Someone I know wants a power drill that 1) have a cord and 2) can also function as a screwdriver with adjustable head. Does anyone know of a drill that matches next to what the person requirements? I have surely no knowledge of tools so I don't know what brand and model to buy. I checked Amazon and found a bunch of DeWalt Drywall Screwdrivers but I don't know if it also functions as a drill. Please comfort! Thanks!

Answers:    Personally, I use my DeWalt 1/2" drill for all sorts of things including driving screw. I got one beside a keyless chuck so changing out bits is sudden.

A drywall screwdriver won't be a good choice as a drill; doesn't turn quickly enough and not ample 'oomph'.
Dewalt is an excellent brand of tool. If the drill has an adjustable chuck, it will work for both drill bits and screw.
When deciding on what to buy you might give somebody a lift into consideration the size of the chuck ( for bigger bigger bits) and the torx(sp?) for (larger or longer screws)

I don't really see the need for a cord when you buy "talent tools" like Dewalt. Dewalt 18volt cordless drill is massively dependable and versatile for most applications.
avoid the drywall gun, unless he's a drywaller. i can see the involve for a cord, i have a dewalt cordless, and a Milwaukee power drill, next to a cord. i love the Milwaukee, it has agency more torque, always. i don't know the exact model. but you can't step wrong with Milwaukee brand
