What is the cheapes way to make a brick?
Answers:
True adobe is made of native clay and straw...you can try it, but I suspect that after you find out how hard this stuff is to make, you will abandon the idea quickly. A hard surface on your yard is not going to reduce dust in any way. Good luck

I'll assume you don't get much rain. I love AZ, it's one of my fave states.
Making brick is not going to solve the issue, and will create others.
If dust is a problem, but rain or standing water isn't you could make blocks out of concrete and 2 x 4 frames. Brick has to be fired for one thing,,,do you have a kiln?
have you considered fencing as a buffer? Some type of ground cover that will grow over your NON lawn?
I'll also assume this is a budget issue as well as a dust issue. What of the surrounding land... Is in ot prone to DUST as well? Might that dust not blow your way just because you pave over your property?

One of the things I like so much about AZ is lawns don't often exist and that could save a bunch in yard work and equipment.
