How can I put a dimmer on a 4-switch panel?

In my kitchen, I have a switch panel that operates four different lights. I want one of the lights to be on a dimmer. Do they sell a switch that has three regular switches aond one dimmer? Where can I get one? Thanks!

Answers:
I believe your questions should be more on how can you introduce a dimmer switch into the 4 switch panel you have. First, what kind of switches do your have now? I assume you have toggle switches? Dimmer switches commonly comes in "decora" type or upright rectangular. if you will use one of this then you have to replace the remaining three with the same "decora" type but regular switch, then you should be able to find easily the plate cover for 4 decora switch panel. home centers like Lowe's or home depot are easy targets. good luck!!

Other answers:
you can buy a dimmer switch that looks just like a regular switch, the same price as any dimmer. But any dimmer will work they are made the same size as all switches. just dont use for a floresent light.

EASY! this assumes this is NOT a three way(two switches for 1 light- like switches at TWO different locations control this light.
1. choose the switch you want to replace
2. turn off power to that switch: this can be done by: turning light on and have someone flip small beakers(by small I mean 15 or 20 amp-it will say on the switch part of the braker the size) until the light goes off. THIS TELLS YOU THE POWER IS OFF TO THE SWITCH. MARK THIS BREAKER! NOW!! DO THE SAME THING TO ALL THE OTHER SWITCHES WHERE YOU WANT TO INSTALL THE DIMMER SWITCH--AND MARK THEM
3. take the screws out of the switch cover
4. take the screws out of the TOP & BOTTOM of the switch you want to replace
5. grab the switch and pull it out
6. there will be 2 wires hooked to switch
7. you're probably better off just cutting the wires as close to the switch as you can(if there is NO extra wire then you will need to unhook the wires from the switch.
8. hook the wires you took off of the switch to the dimmer(NOPE YOU CAN'T HOOK THEM UP BACKWARDS-either wire/either place)
9. installation is the reverse of removal
10. completely put back together-cover and all
11. turn breakers back on
12. tell momma you will now cook her a romantic dinner to celebrate HER new fancy light
TRUST ME ON THIS after 36 years I can guarantee you she won't care if the meal reallllly stinks, AND it's guaranteed to win you AT LEAST three "get out of the dog house" passes
u can buy a dimmer, just replace the switch that u want to dim...

read the instructions and for gods sakes cut the power off
