how do you wire a OUTLET PLUG , HALF SWITCHED?
Answers:
i take it you want one plug of the outlet to be switched, and the other always on. to do this, there is a tab between the screw terminals on both sides of the outlet. break them off, then run your wire from the switch to one half of the outlet, the outher half get power from a non switched power (from another outlet, or from the hot side of the switch, etc..)

Other answers:
It will take a break in one of the lines running to the outlet. That break is your switch. The other line plus ground go to the outlet without a break. You can jump your unbroken line to the other half of the outlet, but you will need another line that is unbroken to the other side of the outlet.
Draw your self a wiring plan. When you buy your "stuff" show your plan. Be sure you get the right gage wire for what your going to wire and that it is fused correctly from the main box.
Does that help you?

Wet your finger, and put it in the wall socket.
