Why do the electrical outlets shock me when I lick them ?

Answers:
Because they are telling you that Martha Stewart was at one point not a bitter husk of a human being and that's pretty shocking!

Other answers:
Because saliva, like other liquids is conducive to electricity. Keep doing it though - the gene pool needs some chlorine.

Cause you are dumb!
Because your tounge is moist, and water or moisture grabs the electricity and lets it travel through until it hits something solid, then it explodes, even if it is a little bit, on whatever object because it is electricity...for some reason.

I don't know why it has to work like that though, i'm not Einstein...and I think I missed that episode of Bill Nye the Science Guy.
isnt that the point electricity can be a turn on if you like pain and id give someone the juice if they liked my outlets
more importantly why are you licking them
because they dont like you! enough sed.
Let me know the next time you are compelled to do this. I'd like to film the experiance for your upcoming Darwin Awards Banquet.

Uuuumm I don't know... maybe you should try to lick them more often and you'll understand...
saliva conducts electricity extremely well
