right ive just layed over 200...100mmx100mm (4x4) tiles, apart from the wall man out, gone like a dream. immediately ive grouted them, bits at a time, but no matter how high-speed i seem to progress its setting on the tiles as quick as i can wipe it bad. its took me longer to clean the tiles, than it have to lay them. the stuff ive used is adheshive and grout all surrounded by one. is there a better method,(quicker) or better grout to use ,because surely proffessional tilers dont muck about close to this. or is it just a vocation of love, and elbow grease????????
cheers,RIGGS.
Answers: your right about the grout ..the stuff you are using is rubbish ..turn to a tiling shop and ask them what grout they use ..then buy some of that ..the grout i use can smoothly cover 8 to 10 square yards since i need to verbs it off and later a warm wetness sponge does the trick easily....this grout comes as a powder ..never buy pre mixed
using grout/adhesive make it harder to remove, just grout wipe away easier
