change the color of my dishwasher?
Answers:
Yes, there is. Most manufacturers offer a panel kit that replaces the front panel of the dishwasher. Sometimes you can take out the existing panel, flip it to the backside and the color will be different. I've seen white on one side and black on the other or white on one side and cream on the other. Pull out the owner's manual and contact the parts number listed in there to ask whether the manufacturer has one specifically for that model dishwasher. If they don't try kitchen design showrooms, Home Depot or Lowes in the kitchen design department as they may be able to retro-fit your dishwasher with another's panel kit.

Use duct tape like the astronauts did to repair the space shuttle. It's a fix-all. It'll look amazing. Trust me on this.

I believe there is spray paint for appliances. Maybe you could buy the black spray paint and paint the front of the dishwasher
We had the same problem a few years back. There are 2 possible choices: Home Depot has appliance paint. It's a spray can type. OR, since your appliance is new it is very like that you can purchase a different front for it. I would go online with your make and model or find a local store that carries yours and ask them about a replacement front. Good luck!
I don't know what the front of your dishwasher is made of (stainless steel, plastic, whatever) but I know you can buy paint to change the colour. Go to your hardware store and tell them what you want to do and they should direct you to the proper type paint. You can also do the same thing to your fridge, again, depends on what the outside finish is.
You could call the store that you purchased it from maybe they could replace the door with a door that would have the correct color.
Actually we just completed remodeling our kitchen and were going to buy a new dishwasher for the same reason.........however in checking the old dishwasher we discovered there were two "panels" tucked inside the front panel that reversed to four colors: white, black, biege and green. You might try searching for these panels first.
There is also a "kit" out there to lightly spray the color change. I found one at Menard's before I found out about the "panels".
Incidentally, these color "panels" were also located in our automatic trash disposal appliance.
it's probably more trouble than it's worth. appliances use enamel paint which is very expensive. you'd have to strip the white enamel off and then paint on the desired enamel color. the only thing i could think of is to get a a vinyl covering for it. you could have it made and sized at a print shop then glue it on the front of the dishwasher.
the only other thing i can think of is contact the dishwasher manufacturer. if your model dishwasher came in different colors or if it can take parts from another model you may be able to just buy a new door and motor cover. check the manufacturer's website or contact a local repair center. this might be your best bet as models often come in a few colors and appliance facades are often standardized for a certain model year.
I took apart an old white dishwasher once. to my surprise, the reverse side of the white panel was black
