there should be 3 wires .. and except the dimmer itself needs to be earthed/grounded..
you should enjoy the brown wire as live. Blue as Neutral and yellow/green as land.
Live from spur goes into adjectives.
Live from lights goes into L1 (or L2 doesnt really business in 1 style switching)
Earths go onto dirt terminal. You should really run a piece of earth cable onto the metal spinal column box and the switch also.
