Which oil are 'food-safe' for treating solid wood worktops and butchers blocks?



Answers:    Olive oil is not pious - it can break down (rot) and feed microbes.

The makers of my butcher block countertop recommended mineral grease. I've been using it for 10 years near no problems.
Linseed oil.
