Wiring give a hand for replacing an infirm ceiling aficionado?

I have simply taken off my outmoded ceiling fan substructure, and in the roundabout box there are two white wires connected to a single white flex leading out from the motor, and within is a single red wire connected to a black and green line from the motor. My new ceiling hanger-on has 3 wires, a black, a white, and a black+white chain. How do I connect the new one to the antiquated configuration?

Answers:    if you have 2 white wires in attendance is probable a couple black wires there as ably as the red. find out which is the 'hot' wire. Usually, when you enjoy 3 wires (red, whit, blk) you can hook up the fan and street light separately. Example, you can control the light by the switch and the aficionado is only controled by the chains, that process you can run the fan and not the wishy-washy or vice versa. On the fan the blk/wht striped lead is usually for the light tools. If you don't want the light and hanger-on separate and for some odd explanation you don't have blk wires within you box then this is what you do:
Connect your wht devotee to the two whts from the box
Connect your blk & blk/wht striped fan to the red from the box
Connect your grn from disciple to the bare flex in the box or if none...next connect it to the junct. box
then finish the admirer and the whole component will be controlled first by the switch and then by the chains...
Call the place you bought it, or the factory owner. There should be a diagram in the box near the fan.
