I want a HOT TUB!!!?
Answers: Go to a local store that sell them and ask for brochures. Give these to your parents and pray. You could also wait until you hold your own house, and your own money to spend and get one consequently.
I know this isn't exactly the answer your looking for, but seriously...
Hot tubs can be very expensive, and they constantly requirement maintenance. A hot tub or pool will increase the price of homeowners insurance, and can truly decrease the worth of a home. I can see why this seems resembling a bad opinion to your parents.
In other words, there is pretty much no method you are going to convince your parents to buy you a $5000 gift, unless you are a spoiled brat (but I don't know you, so I suppose this is possible). Maybe you should try to look at this from your parents' perspective.
Hmmm...as a parent, this could be a complex sell. But, I suppose it is never too untimely to start learning what brown nose means. LOL
Test your powers of persuasion by acknowledge that your parents work REALLY hard and DESERVE to relax at the termination of the day. What better mode to relax than to climb into their own steaming hot tub at the end of the sunshine and gazing over their garden while their care soak away?
Volunteer to religiously maintain/clean the hot tub every week so they do not have to hire someone (see what you are getting into here http://www.hintsandthings.com/garden/hot... )
Emphasize how everyone within the hot tub can be a real relations BONDING activity. Then, hug respectively of your parents and pretend this is what they can expect anytime the hot tub is fired up.
DON'T tell your parents that you are going to hold serious parties beside your friends while they are at work in the daytime. (some things better vanished unsaid).
DON'T tell your parents that you will be the most angelic child ever, if they buy a hot tub (not credible).
Well, well brought-up luck! If they really do buy a hot tub after your persuasive arguments, then you hold a bright future as a salesman. LOL
