ould my microwave get a bad smell fr if i melt pieces of old soap to make a new bar from them how do i do it?

if i wanted to melt old soap pieces small ones to make a new bar of soap from them how is it done?
will the microwave make it bubble up and will the smell stay in it after I melt soap to make a new bar?from scraps?

yes...take a thick plastic bag that they use to put roast in ..put the soap in the bag and drop it into boiling water the soap will eventually melt..wait for the soap to cool a little while so its moldable and go from there :)
