How do you keep stick down vinal tiles on the ceiling of a bathroom?
Answers:
Sorry Friend but floor tiles are for the floor. The glue is not strong enough to adhere high. The two glues will not work together and will counteract each other. If you having problems with dirt try a better paint or actual ceiling tile that requires possible nailing. If you have already got ceiling tile : measure and find the center of the room;start in the exact center working your way out adhere your tiles;they will require some nailing and some glue. Oh don't forget the muscle ointment for you neck(you'll need it)! Good Luck

Place allot of liquid nails and wait about five minutes. Then stick. It works allot better!

use a 2x4 with a piece of wood on the end to prop against the tile for 15 minutes a piece. It's slow, but it works with regular tiles to make them sit flush.
Can I ask how dirty does the ceiling get that you would want to put vinyl tiles on the ceiling? Why not just get some Masonite board that has the hard acrylic finish on it.
they make adhesives for vinyl that you brush on. Also, if your puting it over a painted surface rough up the painted surface with 80 grit sandpaper. This will give the glue something to grab. Good luck!
Check Menards.com or HomeDepot.com. They have a ceiling grid/panel system called Ceiling Max that doesn't require hanging the supports with wires. Very easy installation and a lot less frustrating than what you are doing. Looks more professional too. Make sure there is no water damage and have a good one!
