wrap a wet scarf around the end of a garden hose, shove it down the drain, pulp it in in attendance, and hold downward as hard as you can, Scream out to the assistant "LET HER RIP", and hold it down in attendance while the "Assistant" turns the hose bib on "FULL", stay there a few second and ya done !
Boiling water works authentic well. Also, while doing this, you can use a plunger.

After paying a plumber 179.00 for TRYING to unclog shower drain, I dragged sea hose inside and used the JET on my sprayer attachment (cost 2 dollars), to start cleaning between the tiles--the NASTY mess that plumber made while on my roof--"working"....Anyway, I thought that the force of the water going straight down the drain might force out the clog...IT DID..almost instantly!...I couldn't believe it..I hope i hold no more stopped up drains in practical future, but back i use chemicals, plumber or HOT water, I will other use FORCED water..GOOD LUCK

First you may want to check to see if at hand is something stuck in it. For sink and shower/tub drains, some tweezers or nozzle nose pliers can do wonders. Take out doesn`t matter what plug is covering the hole then verbs in at hand with your tool and snatch whatever you can and verbs it out. I managed to verbs a 1/4lb of nasty, moldy coat clogs out of my drain when I moved into my house. ewww. Amazing how much better it drained after that... Otherwise, I use draino, or equivalent.
