Is there a scematic for Hansa #338 faucets? The replacement hose I rec'd doen't go thru the top end.?

I tried to fish the hose end down thru the faucet head and it seems the end of the hose is too long to go around the curve in the faucet head? If anybody hase worked w/ a Hansa faucet please let me know what I should be doing. I'm obviously not doing it right.
