Answers: floor- put hardi-backer on the floor use either mortar or mastic use the green hardi screw make sure they are sunk contained by use a "v" trowel spread out your choice let it set to where on earth its kind- of- dry- tacky lol! after place the tile 1/8-1/4 (dep on tile size) apart use spacers(can get at HD or hardware store) lay your tile down, press knotty to ensure tile is set even and securely.
for the counter same article but for adhesive use (DAP) "red tube " kitchen caulk and glue its easier to get up if you mess up
Make sure everything is height with no bumps this will raison d`¨ētre alot of problems if you don't
* for mortar it needs to be the consistency of dough, to where on earth you can make a globe out of it
